24317 Pukarhamal

24317 Pukarhamal (provisional designation: 2000 AL12) is a main-belt minor planet. It was discovered by the Lincoln Near-Earth Asteroid Research project in Socorro, New Mexico, on January 3, 2000. It is named after Pukar Hamal, an American high school student whose animal sciences project won second place at the 2008 Intel International Science and Engineering Fair.
